DeVore exhibits both her students' art and her own artwork within community galleries each year. She is an active artist member of the art associates in East Lyme, Lyme, Mystic , Connecticut, and South Kingstown, RI.

Schooled in both fine and commercial art, Sadie studied at universities in the Midwest and New England. Her post-graduate studies were with NYU, school of Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, Brooks Institute of Photography, and Savannah School of Art and Design and Skidmore. DeVore is an elected artist member of the South County Art Association, The Artist Cooperative Gallery of Westerly, the Mystic Art Association, Lyme Art Association, The Connecticut Plein Air Painter's Society, The Brick gallery in Essex, and the Monotype Guild of New England.

Formerly a resident of the Midwest, Sadie now enjoys her home in Mystic, Connecticut and the artist community there. She currently teaches at Stonington High School.
